Why become a member?

As a member of the German Wolf Assocation, you have the possiblity to

• help form the association and its actions and projects actively
• propose official projects, organize and carry them out
• participate in internal gatherings and actions
• attend future events at a reduced admission fee
• buy various wolf articles at our wolf shop at reduced prices
• make contact to other wolf friends in your region through our member's address database

and much more.

Also, an internal GWA magazine called »Pawprints« is sent out to each member three times a year. Unfortunately, the pawprints are only published in German language so far, since we do not have sufficient english-speaking members that would justify the work and printing costs for a English-language magazine. We hope this might change soon!!

Last but not least you do an extremely important contribution to the work of the association and its projects through your membership fee. Without regular membership fees it would be virtually impossible to help the wolf efficiently.

How much is the membership fee?

The minimum fee for adults is 36 EUR (Europe) or $40 (rest of the world) per year and 18 EUR / $20 per year for children, pupils, students, pensioners and umemployed.

If you belong to the second group of people, it's extremely important that you enclose a copy of an attestation of your status with the membership application form. Without such an attestation, we can not offer you the reduced membership fee.

How can I join the German Wolf Association?

Becoming a member of the German Wolf Association is easy and only takes a few minutes of your time.

If you don't own a printer or don't know how to print the application form, please drop us a mail and we'll send a printed membership application form to you. Please don't forget to include your postal address!

All of your data will be kept confidently and will not be made available to anyone unless you tell us to do so. If you do, the specified data will be added to the members database that's only available to other members of the German Wolf Association and is located in the protected area of this website.
